Waldorf salad is counts between the classical international meals that are served in a hotel or a restaurant every day. From when and how this salad start to prepare is not known. The first time when she showed up on a menu is in the Hotel Waldorf-Astoria in New York., in the year 1893, when the hotel’s name was Waldorf and the name Waldorf-Astoria was given to the hotel in the year 1931.

Ingredients for Waldorf Salad
Walnuts – 120 Gram
Raisins – 60 Gram (can substitute grape)
Apple – 1 Each
Celery – 1 Each
Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
Sour cream – 3 tbsp. spoon (or mayonnaise)
Salt – 1 pinch
Pepper – 1 pinch

How to prepare Waldorf Salat

Wash and drain the apple, than chop it on big squares and put in a salad bowl. Wash the celery chop it on thin stripes and put it in the salad bowl together with the apple. The raisins cover it with hot water and live it for few minutes to go soft, than drain it and dry it, add it to the bowl with the apple; you can switch the raisins with grapes. All you will need to do is to wash the grapes and chop it on half. Mince the walnuts and add them into the salad. In a bigger bowl put low fat crème, Walnuts , lemon juice salt and pepper by taste and mix well.
